Pat Vahey was one of the kindest guys you could ever want to meet. He loved his family, friends, history and baseball. He had a heart bigger than a tank and a sharp wit that could have anyone laughing uncontrollably. He was a proud Abraham Lincoln graduate (1997) and a Temple University graduate. Pat, was also a Philadelphia City Recreation Leader in D.C. 47. He loved helping teach kids the fundamentals in all sports, especially baseball and pitching . Pat was also a dedicated little league umpire. Tragically, Pat passed away on 8/12/16. We have set this site up to help Pat's family with funeral expenses during this difficult time.  We appreciate any donation more than you know. Thanks
