Please help us support our dear friend Mestre Gladson.

After already going through very difficult times, he is now faced with even more challenges. Recently, his mother passed away leaving him with significant hospital bills, which are far beyond his capabilities to pay.

He is family to us and we could not imagine a person more deserving of our support, gratitude, and solidarity. We can not sit idle while he struggles through such strife. We must help any way we can.

Please help us help someone who has dedicated his entire life giving and helping others in need (if he knew we were doing this he would stop us, because he wouldn’t want to impose on anyone).

This is a crucial moment, and we want to show him the recognition and honor he deserves as the person responsible for Capoeira of San Jose’s existence.  Also, to show our appreciation for his work, so that he can continue teaching and changing lives as he has already done and continues to do so with Mestre Vaguinho.
