On August 6,2016 Kahli Davis , a 15 year old friend of my son, was hit by a car while scootering to our house.  He was airlifted to Children’s Hospital where he received excellent care. He had 5-6 hours of surgery on his face, nose, chin, and the inside of his mouth was reconstructed.  This picture of Kahli is after his surgery. His left hand was broken, he sustained a severe sprain of his right foot and will need skin grafts to his left shoulder.  Unfortunately, he lost many of his teeth.  The family is unaware of any insurance from the driver and his medi-cal does not cover dental care or rehabilitation.  He needs approximately $60,000  for dental implants and rehabilitation.  The money is needed now to continue his rehab and prepare him for the implants.

Kahli is a lovely young man, very smart and committed to his studies.  He is a close friend of my son Joey’s and they spend many hours together.  He obviously needs teeth at this age!  His family does not have resources to cover this type of expense.
