Along with other challenges we've faced over the past number of years, we battled for the lives of three very premature babies and survived various illnesses. When we look at the upcoming tuition commitments of $70,000 or more, we have no idea how it’s going to happen. But, Hashem’s kindness has enabled us to make it this far, and with His help, we will continue to make it.

Nechama Maron is a vivacious, outgoing, twelve (12) year old girl entering seventh grade. Although high functioning, she is on the Apserberger’s spectrum, suffers from severe anxiety, and has a language-based learning difficulty. All of which prevent her from being in a mainstream school setting. She is currently in a self-contained special ed class receiving the support that she requires which, hopefully, will allow her to make progress and thrive. Her current tuition, after financial aid, is $18,000.

Charna, Henoch, and Blima Maron are all seven years old. They were born very premature at 24 weeks, and weighed in at just over 1 pound each. The fact that they all survived was nothing short of miraculous. They fought their way through surgeries and procedures and, even when we were losing hope, they kept fighting. Therefore, we are fighting now to give them what they need.

Given their prematurity, although they are adorable and inquisitive children, they all have their educational and emotional handicaps and severe functional delays.

All three require different levels of academic, social, and therapeutic settings in order to thrive and make educational and social progress. In order to give them a Jewish education, as they so deserve, their combined tuition will be $51,000.

Although we looked to move to other neighborhoods and communities that may offer cheaper schooling alternatives, for various reasons this is not an option for the upcoming school year. We know this is an uncomfortable position to put people, but we don’t feel we have a choice at the moment. Therefore, we are turning to you – our family and friends – to help us with the financial burden. Please do not feel pressured in any way at all to contribute, only if it something that is doable for you. Even small amounts can go a long way in helping us reach our goal, which is ultimately to help our precious children.
