Jessica's Liver Transplant Fund

Donation protected
Hi! It's Jessica Librera. It saddens me me to let my friends and family know that my liver has finally started the decline I knew that would one day come.
I was diagnosed with Primary Schlerosing Colangitis when I was 17 years old after a liver biopsy. I also have portal hypertension along with other non-life threatening issues. Doctors told me and my parents I would eventually need to be put on the transplant list.
The year I turned 20, doctors put me on the list. I had to carry the "life pager" for the signal to come in for the transplant. Over 5 years passed and I never got the call. Turns out, that since I was not getting worse, I was taken off the list.
Years passed and I lived a pretty normal life with the normal ups and downs. In November 2010, I met the man I later married on St. Patrick's Day 2012. Life was wonderful up until 3 weeks ago. That's when we learned that I am in a decline. I went into the ER with an extremely bloated bell (which you could say was rock hard). The doctor drained 2 liters of fluid out of my abdominal area and admitted me. I spent the next week  and a half getting tests and imaging. That's when it happened.....the words liver cancer. Me? Cancer?  As it turns out, there are at least six tumors inside and outside my liver.
After being discharged only a few days, I had to go back to the ER again. Again, I had to be drained.and this time they took 3 1/2 liters of fluid. Two days later, , we met with the liver doctor and we wer told that there are too many tumors to put me on the list. The cancer doctor said they didn't feel confident going in and treating the tumors. Plus my MELD score is still too low for Arizona. My doctor brought up going to a region where there is a better and shorter list.
After research, we found a place that has one of the best hospitals in the country and where the waiting list is months compared to years than where we are now. That place is the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Now our only problem is how do we get there and how do we live as I am disabled and my husband is out of work since he is taking care of me. All of the money we goes towards our bills. That is why I need your help. I hope you can find it in your heart to help us get to Florida; so I can get my transplant sooner and so I can live a healthier  life. Also so my husband and I can eventually start a family. I would forever be grateful. Hank you for taking the time to read my story and God bless.
