I've long made silly jokes about actually making a fundraiser for this sweet girl to help her in a place of full financial stability, and now it is time to fulfill my promises! Trista is totally without transportation in one of the state's most inaccessible cities by public transit, and has a huge new season coming up soon that most certainly requires a car to be successful. Just when we thought this was within reach, she got hit with a devestatingly large medical bill which she cannot pay off. We need your help.
For those of you who don't know Trista, she's incredibly generous, sweet, thoughtful, and compassionate, and has never hesitated in the past to give to those in need. She's willing to help anyone in any way that she can, and has a deep, profound sense of what it means to love and care for all whom she knows.
She has overcome so much in her short life, having started in the fostercare system as a child that few thought would make it this far. Her medical conditions range from endometriosis (an incredibly painful disorder for which there is no cure that affects the reproductive system) to fibromyalgia, which is defined by widespread muscle pain. These medical conditions have become roadblocks in her successes, and a lack of transportation is an easy fix.
She's starting her first semester at Sonoma State University soon, where she'll complete her degree in English and go on to teach, as she's always felt it was on her heart to do.
Trista has supported herself with few financial problems while also being a student full-time and working part-time, which has put heavy strain on her but also expressed her sense of responsibility and independence.
I'm here to encourage any number of you to donate whatever you feel on your heart to donate to help Trista get out of medical debt and onto a path that would generate transportation by the time the semester rolls around. Your help is so appreciated in getting her into a better place financially so that her academic year can be strong, and Trista can be healthy and happy! Thank you all so much for your time. Bless!
