My name is Pat Casavecchia and I work at Slade Gorton in Boston MA. A co-worker of ours Beth Ellison has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and was operated on July 27, 2016.
Beth is a single mom who has raised a son on her own with no public assistance. She has worked a full time and part time job for most of her adult life to take care of him. We all know someone like Beth a person who will jump in to help everyone. Someone, who even though she works very hard for every dime, would donate to anyone in need. This is the Beth we have all come to know and love over the past ten years. She is a fabulous coworker always willing to jump in and help other team members. She has always had a remarkable sense of humor which has helped many of us to get through some tough days. Now we would like to return the favor. Beth has recently been diagnosed with Breast cancer an even though she has come through the 10 hour surgery well she still has radiation and chemo to get through. Even though she has medical insurance from her job she will still have mountains of bills to pay. There is no definite time for her to return to work so she has the normal expenses needed to get by day to day. The last thing she needs is the stress of where the money will come from. We appreciate any donation you can make to her get through this difficult time. Any money left over after she recovers will be donated to cancer research. God bless you all.
