RN (Christina James) suffers stroke

At the young age of 42 my cousin Christina has suffered a dehibilitating stroke. She is having a hard time talking, and has lost control in her right leg and right arm/hand.
She's the mother of 4 grown boys and is an RN who currently works at the Maine State Prison, before that at Midcoast Hospital. Ironically the same beds she tended to at Midcoast she finds herself in today. Christina is an incredible woman who's simply put has had the worst year of her life! She lost her love he was only 38 to a heart attack in January, and now this.
She's the hardest working person I know, and the most stubborn! She's so stubborn and didn't want to bother anyone that she unbelievably drove herself to the hospital while stroking out (believe I gave her hell for that one)! She would NEVER ask for help herself, but she needs it.
Like most of us she also lives paycheck to paycheck. She has a mortgage and is nervous if she stays out of work she will loose her home. This is a very real possibility, especially since we have no idea how long it will take for her to completely recover.
She's currently waiting on test results to find out exactly what caused her stroke. So now we wait. They have mentioned she will need to go to the rehabilitation center to relearn what she's lost. This will take time. Time that Christina feels she doesn't have to spare. I've told her she MUST take time to heal (she doesn't really have a choice). I just think we could come together and show her support, perhaps help take some pressure off her at this critical time.
