Gabriella was a 37 year old mother of three boys ages 23,18 and 13. She raised all three boys on her own working fulltime to support them. She passed away on August 6th after a battle with colorectal cancer. Her son Cesar quit school and work to take care of his mom and younger brother in the last months of his moms life. Her 18 year old son is a fulltime college student at UC Davis. Gabriella was receiving state disability through work but these payments will now go away. She spent the last months of her life refusing to take pain medication at times so that she could apply for and try to set up services for her sons when she was gone. Her mother who lives in Mexico is sadly taking care of Gabriella's brother who is ill with the same disease. The family has never asked for charity or assistance and Gabriella always worked so that her boys would be taken care of. Donations will be used to help offset the cost of her funeral and to provide basic living expenses for the boys while they complete the lengthy process of applying for programs and settling into life without their mother
