Ingram Twins (Medical Helmets & PT)

Our twins both need medical helmets because their heads are not forming properly as they are growing. The back of both of their heads has a severe angled flat area in the back. This condition is known as Plagiocephaly. Hannah's is worse than Charlie's, to the point that it is causing somewhat of a cone head to form. In addition, Hannah's head is much wider side to side than it is front to back. This is called Brachycephaly. Because of the odd shapes of their heads the muscles in their necks are not strengthening symmetrically. They both have something called Torticollis. This is fixable with physical therapy. If their neck muscles don't form properly it can affect how other muscles lower in their bodies develop. Our major expense in all of this are the helmets for both of the babies. Each helmet will cost $2,025, totaling $4,050. Anything above this amount will go toward both babies physical therapy. We are thankful for anything you are able to contribute to this.
