On Sunday, July 24th my family's lives were turned upside down.  At 5:30 in the morning our home caught on fire.  The fire burned the entire garage, spread into the kitchen and totaled 3 of our vehicles.  The entire house filled with smoke but thankfully my dad and two younger brothers were able to make it out safely. 

While we have filed insurance claims for the house and all 3 vehicles, we won't have nearly enough to cover the reconstruction of our home and replacement of all the property that was damaged.

We have been told that the entire process will take anywhere from 6-12 months. My parents and two brothers are currently staying with me in my 1-bedroom apartment but we hope to find a temporary home soon. All of the funds raised will be used for living expenses, reconstruction costs and furniture replacement.

I am grateful every single day that I’m dealing with insurance claims and not having to plan 3 funerals. This has been a horrible experience for my family and I but we’re trying to stay positive. Any contributions would mean the world to us! We can’t wait to put this behind us and get back in our home <3
