Hi everyone! Most people who know me would know I don’t ask for help much… McLaughlin trait perhaps good or bad. Allie told me start a gofundme page to help with travel and hotel and general expenses.
Saturday October 16th I ended up driving myself to the ER because I had acid reflux… boy was I wrong! Within 7 minutes I was in the back of the ER naked with at least 10 people rushing around… turns out the EKG was definitely indicating a heart attack. I was prepped And they were going into my heart with a camera which I was awake but I really don’t remember. Turns out I have three clogged arteries one and 100% one at 80% and one at 50%.
I was transferred to Lufkin St. Luke’s hospital for a double bypass surgery. Turns out they were understaffed for this procedure and found out it will be a triple bypass. So yeah for me.
I’m not going to ask for money, I am asking for time… I have a wonderful support system but even they need time off. I’ve been that caretaker and it is difficult for sure. But if would like and have the ability please help Allie with a time away or if you have a dollar or two please help fund us on this unexpected journey.
