My name is Craig Hannam I'm a 47 year old Kiwi living in Brisbane Australia with Kylie my wife of 7 years In May 2012 I was diagnosed with a GBM (stage 4 Brain Cancer) Wasn't really on my bucket list but we play the cards we are dealt.To compound the situation, mine was inoperable so I had to rely on Radiation, Chemotherapy and a positive attitude to survive.
Four years later I'm still here and if this beast has taught me one thing it is there is generally someone else in a worse situation than yourself so f you have the ability to pay it forward do so hence this page.
Over the past three years we have fundraised with the help of Family and Freinds for an wonderful organisation called the Newro Foundation. This fundraising is for research and development for both the Brain and Spine.
This year I want to raise money for a wonderful organisation in Melbourne called the "Peace of Mind Foundation"that gives grants directly to families going through this horrible journey
