My name is Sarah and I am 20 years young.  I am married to Logan and we have an adorable 3 year old son named Blaze.  I get my greatest joys from spending time with and taking care of them.  Family is the most important thing to me!  Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with Pleural Mesothelioma in July of 2015.  A rare form of cancer that develops in the lining of the lungs which requires a very dangerous surgery to remove the lung and the lining of the lung followed by more chemotherapy and radiation.  The average life span of someone with this disease is 2-3 years after the surgery.  My surgery is January 4th, 2016.  The thought of me leaving my loved ones behind so early beyond saddens and scares me, but we have heard great stories along the way...WE HAVE HOPE!  This will and has required several trips from Amarillo to Dallas for testing, surgery, and follow-ups at Baylor resulting in costly travel expenses and medical bills.  I have the fight of my life against this dreadful disease.  Please help us in this difficult time.  Every penny counts...God Bless!!
