Love, Prayers, & Support for Alice

Many of us have a person in our lives that we would truly do anything for, a friend that means the world to us, for me that person for the last 22 years has been Betsy. The last few days have been the worst days for Betsy, and as much as I want to fix the situation for her, I can't. I am asking everyone to help Betsy and Ryan take care of her mom Alice.
Betsy's mom, Alice, has always been like a mom to me, I know that Betsy's and my antics drove her crazy, but she truly is a woman with a heart of gold.
As many of you know, Alice suffered a seizure while in the LA airport and is currently in critical, but stable condition. She is receiving the best care there, but her family is now trying to figure out how to stay next to her while in one of the most expensive cities in the country.

Betsy is planning on staying until Labor Day at the minimum. Alice has an extremely long recovery and is going to be in LA for awhile. As many of us can imagine, Betsy does not want to leave her mom's bedside. As her best friend, it is so hard to be in Omaha and helpless and unable to help. Our friend Kari and I want to do what we can, and we know that the expense of staying in LA (especially for a teacher!) is going to be extremely stressful on top of worrying about her mom's recovery.
The funds will be used to allow Betsy to stay in LA until Labor Day (or longer) and help pay for food and lodging. If there is anything left over, it will go to Alice's medical expenses. The sooner Betsy can have help, the less stressful the situation will be.
I ask and beg, to donate any amount. If you know Betsy, then you know what she will do for her friends, and how she will appreciate our support.
Please pray for Alice and her family and thoughtfully consider helping with the situation.
