Karina Funeral Fund

My name is Map Duch. I recently lost my sister Karina Duch to domestic violence. Karina was a devoted mother, friend, and last but not least daughter. She was a small woman (standing a little under 5’ tall) but she had an enormous presence. She had a huge heart, kind eyes, and a warming smile. Her smile was often the prelude to a friendly conversation and a lifelong friendship. She didn’t have a lot, but what she did have was an abundance of love in her heart, and a lot of compassion for her fellow man. She was loved by both friends and family alike.

Karina was 40 years old when she was slain. She lost her life to the one person she entrusted her own life and the lives of her children to, Ngounsay Keo. She was in a toxic relationship with her killer for 23 years and had 2 kids with him (Seyla 14, and Seyha 7). When the relationship deteriorated beyond the point of salvageability it got violent. She gathered up her courage, her 2 kids, and a hand full of belongings and left. Karina had returned to the home 2 weeks later under false pretense to gather up a few things and that was when she was killed.

This foundation is to help with funeral cost. It is also to help the kids adjust to their new home here with me. The kids will need clothes, school supplies, furniture, beds, and other day-to-day necessities. Any amount is much appreciated and will go a long way to help the kids out. I thank you for your kindness and generosity.
