In August, Maggie was on a family vacation and was in a freak electric scooter accident that left her with a broken jaw and multiple teeth in need of repair/replacement.

The road to recovery is long and costly. The emergency surgery she received in California was only the beginning of a very long and difficult battle. There will be 4-5 more surgeries to get her back to a new normal over the course of the next year. See below for a few images that show a small taste of what this experience has been like for Maggie and her family.

So many of you have asked for ways to help, and this is your opportunity! If you’ve been fortunate enough to have Maggie as a friend, photographer or family member, you know that her favorite thing is to laugh and talk! She has kept her spirits up amazingly well but the restriction on food (liquid only for weeks!) and talking would wear on anyone.

Here’s your chance to brighten her day, and help ease some of the stress and worry surrounding these awful events. Any amount you can contribute will help, large or small. The vast majority of these expenses and surgeries are not covered by insurance and could end up between 10-20K. Not only that, large portions are due to even get the surgeries scheduled.
