My sister Emily and her husband Andrew are some of the hardest working people I know. Several years ago they left their high pressure jobs in the east to move their family out to Western Nebraska and pursue their dream to live off the land. They put everything they had together to move to Nebraska where a family member helped them purchase a small homestead property with a few acres and a small house. I have watched them cultivate this into quite the Green Acres with chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, and cows. Truly living off the land, my sister gets up before dawn each day to cultivate her large vegetable garden. This has been such a labor of love as they raise their two sons in this wholesome environment. In the past year my sister has been plagued with a number health problems that the doctors just could not pinpoint the reason for. Just recently while having the electrical wiring upgraded, they discovered mold in the walls of their house. The prior owners had replaced windows and did not properly seal them so water has been seeping into the walls for a couple of years. Now my sister and her family are forced to move out of their home until this issue is resolved. However, they do not have the funds to hire a professional mold contractor to come in and remove the mold so that they can remodel and get back to living their dream. Please help in any small way that you can. The homeowners insurance won't cover the cost of any mold issues. The problem has become so severe that my sister has ended up twice in the emergency room in the past year, once just this month. Your help will be greatly appreciated!
