Dana Catherine

Friends,  I want to tell you about an incredibly special woman and her equally special husband and kids.   In 2016, Dana (then mother to a 5 and a 6 yr old) was diagnosed with Stage 2 ovarian cancer when a large tumor took over one of her ovaries.  This type of cancer is what they call "chemo resistant".... so it's a bitch.   In Jan of 2017 Dana ended up in the ER.  She had more cancer on her other ovary and on her appendix.  A total hysterectomy, appendectomy and a dissection of her diaphragm followed.

Dana, her husband Gregg, and their two amazing boys, Colton and Connor left their home, their family, their friends in Pennsylvania to head to Colorado.  In part so they could raise their boys in a more 'free range' fashion.  (You should see these kids tear up a mountain).... but also because they wanted to pursue use of cannnabis oils for cancer (along with Westernized medicine).  

For 3 years, they enjoyed the mountains, each other, and life in general.... with "no evidence of disease"

We can all agree that 2020 sucked.  But it was WAY worse for my amazing friend and family.  She had 'new' pain... and yes.  It was back.  This time with a big tumor on her bladder. 

In addition to that, last year Aetna dropped them and they had 24 hrs to scramble to get new insurance.   This insurance has a GIANT deductible.... and also will not cover any out of state treatments.   Dana has been going to Sloan Kettering in NY for treatments.  That is an ENORMOUS amount of out of pocket expenses. 

She's currently in the hospital with huge fevers (104 and 105) and they put stents in her kidneys.  She was hoping to get back to Sloan next week.  

I humbly ask for you to help this family out.  They are beyond special....and they simply  want  to buy more time w/ their kids, Colton and Conner.
