Hello friends and family!
As many of y'all know I will be teaching Sophomore English this fall at Kimball High School, which is a part of Dallas ISD in South Oak Cliff, Dallas. I am so lucky to have this opportunity and to be a part of the Teach For America program and am so excited for what this new adventure brings!
Part of beginning a new year in the classroom includes set up and stocking the room with supplies. I am responsible for providing many materials to my students, as they do not have the funds to buy even basic supplies (binders, notebooks, etc). In order to provide my students with the items they need and to get my classroom looking fun and engaging I need y'all's help!
I have set my goal at $500, and appreciate each and every donation! My 180 future Sophomore English students and I thank you very much!!
