Our pastors and dear friends, Brian and Mercy Alarid have been in a battle for their daughter's health for several months now. Within a short period of time, our daughters' closest friend, Chloe Alarid, went from perfect health to emergency and dire hospitalization. Quite literally think "Miracles from Heaven", the recently released movie, except Chloe hasn't received her diagnosis or healing yet. It has been incredibly difficult to watch one of the sweetest children writhe in level 10 stomach pain for hours on end, have massive sensory issues, and be isolated for months; with no answers or relief.
My husband Jeremy and I are raising money for sweet 12-year-old Chloe. She has been suffering from severe stomach pain and headaches for over 4 months. The Doctors believe she has nerve pain in her stomach and migraines. However, none of the medications they have prescribed have helped her; there is no real diagnosis and nobody really knows quite what to do.
They have been to various hospitals, ER's, and specalists in New Mexico and Virginia and none have been able to help her. Now they would like to visit a Christian doctor and clinic in Idaho that does all-natural treatments and excels at finding undiagnosed issues and fixing them. It isn't covered by their insurance, so they will need to pay for all travel expenses and treatments out of pocket.
The initial trip, exam, and treatment will cost around $2,000. Depending on what they find and how many more treatments she needs, it could cost upwards of $10,000. I personally have been to this doctor and have received the most amazing care and healing for my own debilitating ailments that had been left undiagnosed and untreated for over 3 years. I can say with confidence that this is money well spent.
There have been so many people across the globe who have been touched by the Alarid family. During this storm of life that the Alarids have been enduring, many of you have asked how you can help. We believe this is a huge way that we can all help those who have continually given to all of us. Let's be an Acts people and give out of what we have to help those among us who are in need; especially our Pastors!
Will you please consider helping this precious family restore their daughter's health so that she can be a carefree kid again? The primary goal is to raise $10,000 to cover this specific treatment but we know they have lots of medical bills that have piled up from the past several months of tests, hospital stays and ER visits. Every penny raised will be used in pursuit of making Chloe whole again.
Chloe loves Jesus with all her heart. This time last year she was excelling in school, basketball, track and singing with our daughter on the worship team at church. She has a long, vibrant life to get back to; one full of destiny and accomplishment, witness and fulfillment. Our desire is to do what we can to bring her back to that place.
