I cannot thank you enough for your support during our family’s time of need.  From my heart, thank you.  With your support and great advice from experts in the medical field, with whom we made connections because of those who shared Jasper’s story, we were able to secure the two medications Jasper needs at a huge discount.  Your generosity has allowed us to secure a year's supply of medication, which is such a huge relief.  Thank you.  


It should not have to be so hard to find the right magic words to say to the right group of medical care providers to keep your son alive.  We feel so lucky that our family will not have to bankrupt us all to keep Jasper from rejecting his heart, but we are so tired and angry that our country allows a predatory healthcare system like this to exist, where everything is so complicated and people often are forced into losing everything to keep their family members alive.  That is not right.  


Our healthcare system having a profit incentive for life saving medication is morally wrong.  One person every single minute goes bankrupt in this country from medical bills and that makes us so angry.  That is not right.  We believe healthcare is a human right and life saving medication should not be withheld due to lack of ability to pay health insurance gangsters in the medical drug cartel.  We are angry, but we are also so thankful for our community, and deeply humbled that we had to ask for help.  We love you.  Thank you for coming through for us in our time of need, when we were shocked and scared and unsure what to do.  We will remember your kindness and send our best wishes to you and your family. I will always carry a heart full of love and gratitude.
