Fighting for the Victory!!
We are Debbie Witkowski and Kris Conlan. Incredible friends of ours, John and Sheila Jones live in Bridgeport with their daughter Jasmine. Each of their lives has been touched by some form of cancer. Most recently, John has been diagnosed with rare and agressive Small Cell Lung Cancer. He was initially diagnosed in November 2015. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, he was thought to be in remission and he was strong enough to go back to work in May 2016. However, in June 2016, John began to experience symptoms again. Doctors confirmed that the cancer had returned.
John is not able to have the same chemotherapy treatments as he did in the first round because not enough time has passed since the last rounds. In being evaluated for possible participation in an immuno-therapy trial, it was discovered that the cancer has spread to his brain. Most recentlly, John has been receiving radiation treatments to his brain that have left him weak and very sick. He is literally fighting the battle of his life.
At this time, John is not able to work. However, daily expenses and medical bills continue to come in. Please donate and assist us in raising the necessary funds that will go to helping John get the necessary care, pay off his current medical bills and help the Jones family to meet their living expenses. In addition, we ask for your prayers for John, Sheila and Jasmine during this challenging season in their lives.
