This beautiful and lively dog has been in and out of the vet the last few weeks.  His condition became worse and is now in a critical care hospital in Pasadena to see a specialist.   Jasper’s energy and ability to make someone’s day has inspired my friend Piper to continue her work as an animal rescue activist.  Her non-profit Hand in Paw Rescue has connected hundreds of dogs and cats to loving homes as well as educate the public about the crisis of over population, irresponsible breeding, puppy mills, neglect and abuse. Piper has dedicated her life and resources to this honorable and often difficult calling.  It breaks my heart that her best friend and source of strength, Jasper has an illness that is creating an overwhelming financial burden and emotional strain.  She’s always been the one giving and expecting nothing in return, bringing joy to both animals and people.  I’m creating this go fund page to help my friend with Jasper’s mounting vet bills and to cross off just one burden that Piper carries in her pursuit to make the world a better place.  Please join me in helping this wonderful little dog and her mama.  Thank you.
