Many years ago God gave me a dream. In that dream I was in a different country teaching and sharing Jesus. I felt this was God telling me I would be going somewhere overseas. Along with the dream I heard a song based on Psalm 2:8, “‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.” I knew then one day I would go but where and when I wasn’t sure. God opened that door and all that came to my mind was the scripture, Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” When it all started coming together I could not say no.
I am excited to be partnering with Pastor Dan Sherstad as we preach and teach at the Open Heaven Conference in South Africa from October 20 to November 4, 2016. At the conference I will be helping in teaching on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and how to create an atmosphere for His presence along with praying and ministering to church leaders. We will also be bringing the love of Jesus to the hungry, the orphan and those in drug rehabilitation. While we are there serving Him we will bring His power and presence to a local Bible College and various leadership meetings. I am looking forward to be His servant at this time in this place.
The goal? The finances needed are $3500. This covers airfare, food, accommodations and some money for anything unexpected or some spending money. I also covet your prayers for safe travel, God’s anointing, strength and wisdom. Please also pray for every community, leader and every hurting and broken person who needs the touch that only Jesus can bring.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve and minister alongside Pastor Dan and learn from him. I have known Pastor Dan for many years. We recently reconnected and God has been doing some amazing things. His Dad was my Pastor when I first was discharged from the Navy. I have known them for 30 plus years. Pastor Dan is currently lead Pastor at Destiny Christian Center in Wisconsin. I ask you to join me in partnership and prayers for this mission trip. Please pray and forward any donation to me.
