Hello everyone,
My name is Catherine Solorio. I am a friend of Andrea and have had the pleasure of meeting her beautiful family. I have created this campaign to support Andrea's family with any costs of medical bills and/or memorial service.
On April 24, 2016, the world lost a beautiful person.
Andrea was the type of person who would walk into a room and immediately lift up the spirit of anyone around her. She was beautiful inside and out. Strong, smart, caring, and a bubbly person, she was a remarkable woman who was full of life and love. She always wanted to build people up and make them feel validated. Not only was she an open person and accepting to everyone, but she was also a truly genuine, honest, and kind human being.
Andrea had always been close to her family. I watched her work hard to finish school. Managing to work two jobs while commuting to San Francisco State University, she accomplished her degree in English less than two years ago. Her dream was to travel around the world helping others. She pursued her dreams and moved to Spain with her boyfriend, Omar, to teach English. While living in Spain, she had the opportunity to travel around Europe which had always been a lifelong goal.
Unfortunately, her journey was cut short when she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma cancer. They immediately moved back to California where she had the support of her family, boyfriend, and friends. She fought her battle against cancer for nearly a year and until the end. Even during her treatment she continued to be the positive and uplifting Andrea that we all knew. The world will never be the same without her.
