M&M's Nanny/Night Nurse Fund

thank you for visiting our Go Fund Me page.  Matt and I have decided that instead of gifts for our baby shower, we would prefer that people donate to our nanny/night nurse fund to help us keep our sanity and get some good nights sleep once we bring the baby home.
If you have been following my pregnancy you know that its been a rough go  and once the baby comes I know that the demands of breast feeding and long nights will push my body to its limits. I would really love the opportunity to sleep comfortably and recharge after the birth, but also from the 9 month long pregnancy difficulties. Matt doesn’t know it yet, but he’ll need the sleep too.

What is a night nurse you ask?

A night nurse is highly trained in newborn care and many of them are RN certified.  Nurses come to you house in the evening and care for your newborn while letting you get some sleep. They are responsible for overall care of the newborn and keeping track of sleeping patterns and feedings. We plan to have a night nurse 3-4 days a week at 8 hours a night, which is pricey. Night nurses cost anywhere between $20-$30 an hour.

No one knows the value of a good nanny more then I and I'm excited to be on the other end of the nanny experience. I have been a carekogiver for 15+ years and I’ve learned so many important lessons, but the most important is this, A HAPPY MAMA MAKES A HAPPY HOME.
