Hi friends and family,

These last few years haven't been the easiest for me but I've tried really hard to stay positive. I've had to figure out how to balance work and being a single mother after Scott left. I work really hard but I don't make a lot of money, which has caused me to fall behind on a lot of my bills.

Last fall, my child support stopped coming in (which is a whole other situation that's being worked on...) I couldn't pay my rent and lost my apartment. I've been making progress to pay off the outstanding rent so I can move into another place soon. I've been staying with a friend until I can get back on my feet, but the girls are living with Scott. It's been hard but we try to make the most of the time we have together. 

One of the biggest expenses I fell behind on was my car registration and parking tickets. Last week, my car was impounded. To pay off my outstanding tickets and fees, it's going to be over $5000. A friend has loaned me their car while they're on vaction for the next week, but I need to get mine out as soon as possible since the fees build with each day that it's stored.

I'm in a hole that I don't know how to get out of without asking for your help. So many of you over the years have said, "If I can ever do anything to help, let me know." I know that if I had asked for help sooner, maybe I wouldn't be in this situation, but it's embarrassing and so hard to ask for help. I know that you have expenses of your own to worry about and your own families to take care of, but if you can help me out in any way, I would be forever grateful.
