As I write these words in this description box I'm heartbroken, torn, in denial and so emotionally hurt that I'm not sure exactly what to write that will depict the message I want to be recieved. My name is Dechon Grice, the twin brother to Devon "D-Town" Grice who was murdered on July 28th, 2016 on 11th and Sharon in Indianapolis, Indiana. My brother was the most genuine, loving, loyal, and respectable man I have ever met in my life. My family and I are devastated by this and we want everyone who knew us, to remember him the way that he would have wanted to be remembered.
The purpose of this account is not only to support our family in this time of need but also to raise aware to this problem our society is facing. We are asking that all our family, friends, co-workers, classmates and everyone else to please donate whatever you can to help us foot some of the expenses in laying my brother to rest. Any and every dollar is greatly appreciated. My brother leaves behind a legacy and will forever be lived through so many people who he came in contact with. We want to rest my brother immediately and so the faster this page shared and reposted the more awareness we can bring to everyone.
Our mission after my brother is put to rest it to advocate for justice in these communities where senseless crime is seen day after day with no one being held accountable. In order to make a difference we must start here. My brother loved everyone and this is what he would want for us to do for him.
