Emily's College Fund

Emily Lindblad is student from Christopher Newport University majoring in Music Education. Last summer, the summer before her Senior Year of college, her mother, Stacey, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Emily attempted to complete her fall semester, but her mothers conditioned worsened requiring her to leave school at the end of the semester in order to help take care of her. Unfortunately Emily's mom passed away on July 1st of this year. Emily is now trying to focus back on her goal of finishing her degree. She is currently enrolled in this upcoming fall semester, but is in need of financial assistance to help pay the balance of the tuition that is owed. Emily has been a diligent hard working student at CNU and deserves to be able to complete her education that she has worked so hard on, especially being so close to the end. Anyone who knows Emily understands what a kind and generous person she is.  The fact that she took off her last semester of school to be with her mom proves that. So, if you can donate in any way it would be greatly appreciated, no amount is too little. Emily has made some great sacrifices for those she loves, now it is time for others to help make her dreams a reality. #GFMScholarship
