Just last week, on a rainy Christmas morning, Ryan smelled smoke and went into the garage where he saw a small trash can fire. He thought he could just open the back door and kick the can out but when he open the back door to the garage the oxygen fueled & ignited a wall of flames right in front of him & caught his nylon sweatpants on fire like a dried up Christmas tree. Disorientated he stumbled backwards in a ball of flames! His brother Eric heard the screams, came running in and ripped the burning clothes from his brothers burning body. His hands were severely burned in the process also. Ryan received burns on 40% of his body from his neck to his feet but his legs & hands are the worst. Ryan will be in UC Medical Burn Center for a month or more. The pain is great and skin grafts will soon be performed.
The Bills are adding up and any Help will be greatly appreciated. Please share if you know Ryan or if you know how bad it hurts to be burned.
