Support Travis's Journey to Healing

Hi everyone!

I am reaching out for my best friend, Travis. He was direct admitted on April 25th to Neuro ICU at Anschutz for what we suspected at first was a brain bleed, which caused a stroke.

Two surgeries, multiple MRIs/CT scans, labs, tests, and so much worrying later. We finally confirmed that Travis had a bacterial infection in the center part of his brain. This infection traveled to his brain from a recent sinus infection.

Yesterday Travis had surgery to place a tube in his skull to relieve pressure for a clearer view of his brain. They also did a surgery to remove all the infection.

Surgery was successful, but Travis still remains heavily sedated for his comfort and safety.

There is a long road to recovery ahead for Travis, and hence the reason for the GoFundMe.

Travis will need extensive forms of rehab and will be out of work for an unknown time. Sadly life does not stop and his rent, bills, etc. still need to be paid.
