Heather Sisco's "Blessing" Campaign
Donation protected
This fund has been created in honor of Heather Sisco. A wife, mother, friend, and disciple maker. Here's why.
On July 4th, what had began a rather normal day, ended something very different. Heather, who had complained of fatigue for a few weeks, ended up in the ER. After a few scans, the Dr. indicated she may have cancer. This led to several weeks of more testing and scans. Ultimately she was diagnosed with a very rare form of Liver cancer. It's stage 4, and spread to other locations in her body. Last week, she was given a terminal diagnosis with life expectancy of 6-18 months.
That describes the cold, hard, medical facts. But that does not even begin to describe Heather Sisco or her story. She has chosen grace instead of fear. She is encouraging instead of asking for help. She is using her diagnosis to draw people near to her, and in effect, near to God. Heather Sisco is terminally saved. She is terminally destined for heaven. That is her real diagnosis.
The purpose of this gofundme is to try and provide encourage and relief in three specific ways.
1. Medical Bills - she has spent much of the last three weeks in/out of the hospital. They are also expecting many future trips as she deals with her cancer.
2. Memories - as a group of supporters, we want to help this family make memories. They desperately want to travel back to Africa to see the kids they have tried to adopt. We also want to make it possible for this family take other trips to spend as much quality time together as possible.
3. Heather currently has a full time job. Her desire is to have the option to stay home and spend time with her family. She has a few projects (she always does) and also a few "dreams" to take care of.
The outpouring of love and support from around the USA have been staggering. We humbly ask that you join us in loving and supporting this family well. Most importantly, the #1 way you can support this family is to pray she be healed. We believe that God can do this. We are asking that he does. Will you join us in bringing Heather Sisco before the throne of God, and asking that he do a miracle?
May God bless each of you.
