This is my father Doug Davis . Many of our family and friends know that he has been battling colon cancer for a few months now. He went in thinking that he would have surgery and then chemo and radiation... and things would Go well. On the day of his surgery we got bad news. That the cancer was more progressed and surgery wasn't an option until chemo and radiation could help to shrink the cancer. So he would have to wait months, get a port put in for chemo and radiation 5 days a week, and then go through surgery again . If you know my Father you know he has worked hard all his life. He has been a Master Electrician for 34 plus years. Before that he did lots of manual labor and worked hard for his family. Being home and not being able to work has put a strain on him and my step mother's finances. My step Mom Rosie has missed work and has had to take time off to stay at the hospital and after for the multiple doctor appointments. She's been steady by his side through everything. They also have a 20 year old daughter( Roxie Jo Davis) who is a junior in college that they help. So I'm asking for any assistance that you can to help cover medical expenses and bills that have piled up. My sister and I thought to put this together because my Dad has never been a man to ask for help. But he's always been there to help others in need. I thank you in advance from the Davis family. Even if you can't help financially any prayers for his healing would be greatly appreciated.
