My name is Jason Riggle, Head Coach of a Diamond Elite baseball team in West Chester, Ohio. Our team is part of several other DE teams in the Southwest Ohio League (S.W.O.L). We are committed to teaching our youth the game of baseball with a focus on the skills that will allow them to play the game with passion and excellence today and in the future. Our aim is to prove one can be competitive without sacrificing the joy of the game. It’s what we believe sets Diamond Elite apart from the rest.
The team and I are attempting to raise funds to help us train and compete against other area select teams within S.W.O.L. As you can imagine with the cost of facility space, travel, and equipment, we have a higher overhead than the typical rec league, and our budget allocation is fronted by the players’ parents. We are asking for your support in raising funds either by donation or sponsorship.
The budget is about $10,000 for a season and we are looking to raise between $2000-$3000 to offset the costs that each family will have to pay. The team has 11 players and we have a goal of about $650 per player for out of pocket costs. With your help of just $1, $2, or even $5, we can achieve our goal. Please help us on our campaign.
