These three precious children, Aidan (13), Abby (10) and Autumn (7), suffered another devastating loss on July 30, 2016 when their devoted father, Dustin Prater, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.  This tragedy comes only 16 months after the heartbreaking loss of their loving mother, Leah Lambert Prater, who also passed unexpectedly in March 2015.

Dustin's love and devotion for "The A Team", as he referred to them, was undeniable.  There was nothing Dustin loved to do more than spend time with his kids, preferably on the water somewhere.  Most weekends, you would find them with friends and family at the Guadalupe River or Medina Lake or the occasional trip to his hometown of Corpus Christi for some "beach therapy".  He always did his best to protect and comfort them, despite being absolutely heartbroken from the loss of his beloved Leah.  

The loss of Dustin has been absolutely devastating for his loving parents, Caryne and Kenny, his younger sister Shaunna and countless other family members and longtime friends. If you were ever lucky enough to meet Dustin, you would understand why people said, "if you met him, you loved him". He was so kind-hearted, hilarious and loyal. He loved good Texas music, spending time camping with friends and hanging out on the lake with his family.  

There is a lot of uncertainty about what the future holds for these three beautiful children.  Luckily, they are surrounded by many people that love them dearly and want to ensure they are well taken care of and that they get the help they need to process these tragic losses.

Aidan, Abby and Autumn are in need of our prayers, as well as our support.  We are hoping to raise funds to assist them through the many difficult transitions that lie ahead.  100% of these funds will go to ensure these children are provided for and get the help they desperately need.  They are truly surrounded by love.  Please help us to ensure that their two wonderful, devoted parents are the only things they have to go without. We feel sure that everyone who loved Dustin and Leah (and we know there are a lot of us out there) will feel moved to show their support.  Please consider giving to this very worthy cause and continue to lift the entire Prater family up in prayer.
