Hello my name is Brandie Taylor. My husband and I have been married for 11 years July 23 2016, however we almost didn't make it to 11 years. On June 1 2016 I had a stroke, while I was in the hospital I had 2 seizures. I then had to be placed in a medically induced coma for 10 days. While the doctors are unsure of the root cause of the stroke and seizures they believe that it is related to my other medical issues that are specific to only my family tree. The month before the stroke I was hospitalized for coughing up blood, and had to undergo 2 surgeries to stop the bleeding. One thing the doctors do know is that one of the contributing factors to my health issues is my highly elevated stress levels. For my 31st birthday my husband got me a German Shepherd that I have been wanting for years.

She is a very sweet and loving dog for our whole family. She has also been a help in lowering my stress level. However she is not able to go everywhere with me at this time. With the proper training she can become a certified service dog and go anywhere I go. We have begun talking to a trainer, Mr. O , who checked her temprament and says that she has the perfect temprament for a service dog. At this time we are unable to afford the cost to have her trained and that is what this is for. I want to be able to "be there” for my husband and 3 kids, both physically and emotionally.

We have not come to this point easily where we need to ask people for money, but it is for the good of my family. I know that my family will greatly appreciate any help that we receive.
