Help Storm Get Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Angelica, and I’m the proud mom of a sweet and loving 4-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm — a rescue dog who has already overcome so much in her short life.
Storm was found as a young pup, alone outside a Dollar General store during an actual storm — frightened, wet, and in need of help. Thankfully, she was rescued and eventually came into my life, where she has grown into the most loyal, gentle, and beautiful soul. Despite her rough beginnings, she’s always been full of love and light.
But now Storm is facing another challenge. Just a few days ago, she suddenly became very ill — vomiting, refusing food, and clearly in distress. After several vet visits, blood work, X-rays, and a barium contrast study, we discovered she has a foreign object lodged in her digestive tract, likely a piece of cloth or fabric.
The object is causing a blockage that could quickly become life-threatening. Storm now needs emergency surgery to remove it before it leads to serious damage or infection.
As many pet parents know, emergency veterinary care comes with overwhelming costs — and between diagnostics, hospitalization, surgery, and aftercare, the expenses are more than I can manage on my own. I’m doing everything I can for her, but I need help.
Storm is strong, and she’s already survived so much in her life. I want to give her the chance to recover and keep living the happy life she finally deserves.
If you're able to donate, even a small amount, it truly means the world. If you can’t give right now, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful. Thank you for taking the time to read Storm’s story, and for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
