Robert "Bob" Neely was a gentle, calm, happy, and friendly soul to all who crossed his path in life. He was a devout Christian man who's light for Christ shined brightly! He worked in the community of Gallup knocking on doors and sharing the Gospel with anyone willing to listen. He loved his family dearly and was so happy to be reunited with them once again after living apart for a few months while he started his new job in Gallup, and his six-year-old daughter, Hannah, finished the school year in Nashville,TN. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist at GIMC, but on days off, he enjoyed devoting his free time to his family as they would travel to explore nearby national parks and cities. Friday, July 22nd was supposed to be the start of one of these family weekends. However, only a block away from the hotel parking lot in Albuquerque, Bob, Gina, and Hannah were struck by a drunk driver. Hannah left the accident with no physical injuries. Gina sustained fractures in her ribs and sternum. And Bob died shortly after arriving to UNMH. As Gina and Hannah begin to piece together a life shattered by the loss of the man they love, cherish, and honor the most, we ask that anyone who is able and willing to help us remove this single burden that weighs heavily upon the shoulders of Gina who relied on Bob as the sole financial provider for the family, will donate to this funding campaign in hopes of covering the total costs of Bob's funeral expenses. As hard as this time has been, Gina has relied on her faith and hope in God and His promise of peace and eternity in Heaven for his faithful children. She is thankful to everyone for their continued words of encouragement and support, and relentless prayers! God Bless you all and thank you!
