Mr. Enzo's Medical Expenses

Enzo the Great Pyrenees is suffering from a very serious and potentially life-threatening infection. While camping this past week, it appears that he was bitten by a snake, and the infection has gotten out of control. The swelling has taken over his entire hind quarters and he is unable to go #2. Enzo is sedated, under constant watch by a DVM, and is on fluids and antibiotics.

Today he had a procedure done to remove some of the necrotizing tissues inside of his hip. He is in very rough shape but according to the last update from my veterinarian, he has a high chance of recovery if he is given the right treatment.

My hope is that this GoFundMe will help to cover the medical expenses that are adding up. I'm transferring him back and forth between his primary care DVM, and after hours, to the emergency ICU where he will stay overnight for the next few days.

Those of you who have known and followed Enzo and me over the last year know what this dog means to me. We have been through more together than some people go through in a lifetime. He's helped me through divorce, relocation alone across the country, saved me from getting robbed at an ATM, and been there for me to hug every day. He is my travel partner, my adventure buddy, and my best friend.
