Save Lynn Crosbie & Bobby Dazzler

I'm fundraising for my dear friend Lynn, a brilliant poet and novelist, who is facing a very difficult time.

After more than 25 years of living in her home in Parkdale, Toronto, Lynn and her rescue cat Bobby Dazzler are being evicted. With the state of the Toronto housing market, she's being forced to significantly downsize and part with many of her cherished belongings.

We are in the process of packing up her life, which is an emotional process in itself. Despite all efforts to find employment, Lynn is currently without income and struggling with ongoing health issues that prevent her from doing physical work, including packing and moving. She has applied for social housing, but the waitlist is many years long.

Van rental

Moving Helpers

Packing and moving supplies

Temporary storage

Rent for emergency housing

For those in Toronto, Lynn is selling some of her artworks, books and other select items. If you would consider a purchase please get in touch directly. Same if you would like to donate your time and help with packing, picking up or dropping off things at goodwill, lending ar car, or donate moving boxes and supplies. Any contributions will help and are appreciated. Lynn is also offering her professional skills, such as editing, in exchange for donations, and grateful for any leads on jobs in her field.
