My name is Pam Blankenzee and I am raising funds for my sister, Patty Palmer.  My sister is 49, has 2 kids (one grand kid on the way) and lives by herself with her dogs. She went into ER for a swollen shoulder (could not lift her arm up) and the doctors found a large fast growing tumor in her chest that laying on her pulmonary artery between her heart and her lungs - it is cutting off the circulation to the artery in her left arm.  The tumor is growing up into her neck. The doctors say the tumor is some sort of cancer. She has been in the hospital for 2 days so far. We are still waiting to get the results of the biopsy to see how they will treat the tumor.  Doctors are already discussing chemotherapy. I am raising funds because Patty has no insurance, no income to support her during this illness nor does her job (hourly) offer sick leave. Not even sure she will have a job when she is released from the hospital. The funds raised will go towards her living expenses and for her treatments. 

Funds are needed right away as Patty has been off of work for over two weeks because of the swelling in her shoulder.  Any funds that I can raise is much appreciated as my funds are limited.  We are both truly thankful for any funds you can donate.
