That's me, Kay Rogers Black and one of my dearest friends, Todd Fortier. I am asking for your help to support my friend Todd at this time as he recently learned that he will need immediate open heart surgery to repair blocked arteries.
As many of you may already know, Todd has a huge heart, so it is incredibly ironic that such a beautiful heart with so much love to give would need repair.
Todd is a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend.
Todd is also the dedicated private voice teacher to many young students in the greater Milwaukee area and those close to him know how much his students mean to him. He is not only their voice teacher, but he many times becomes their most important mentor and life coach.
As a studio teacher he will be greatly missed by his students for the next several weeks as he recovers from his surgery (this is something that weighs heavily on his mind even though those of us who love him are telling him to focus his energy on healing).
Due to his absence from teaching and as a self-employed professional, it will also mean that Todd will be without income during a time in which he will incur many medical expenses.
It would mean a great deal to Todd and to all of us who love him so dearly if you would consider donating even a small amount toward this fund. It would mean Todd will have less stress and worry at a time when he needs to concentrate on getting stronger.
Any funds given will be used to help Todd with his routine bills (rent, insurance, living expenses) and also to help defray some of the out of pocket medical expenses that he will incur.
Thank you for considering and please keep Todd in your thoughts and prayers these next few days and weeks.
Sincerely,
Kay and Todd's loved ones
