Friends and Family,
The past couple of months have been extremely difficult for our good friends Patrick and Valerie Rosa, and their two sons Sam and Will.
In May, Sam (Valerie and Pat's oldest son), was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Sam started his first of three cycles of chemotherapy last week. During each cycle, he has one long day of chemotherapy followed by 4 more days of oral steroids. He will have 2 weeks off and then will start the second cycle.
On Friday, June 21st, Patrick was admitted to Northside Hospital for persistent vomiting and intense headaches. After multiple tests, he was diagnosed with varicella meningoencephalitis. Patrick is still in the ICU at Northside after suffering several severe complications related to this disease. At this time, he is 100% dependent on a ventilator to breathe and cannot move his arms or legs.
Sam and Will both attend Our Lady of Assumption Catholic School in Atlanta, GA. OLA has graciously offered to cover half of the boys’ tuition for the 2019-2020 school year.
Many of you have asked how you can help. First and foremost, we ask for continued prayers for the Rosa family. Pray for complete healing of Pat and Sam. Pray for peace and strength for Valerie and the entire Rosa family during this extremely difficult time.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

To help ease some of the financial burden and stress that the Rosa family is going through, we have set up an account to help raise the remaining tuition for Sam and Will. With the amount of love and support surrounding the Rosa Family, we believe we can reach our goal.
Any additional funds we raise will go towards the meal plan and extended care program (after school care) for the boys.
Please note that since these donations will be going to the school they will not be tax deductible.
