A Helping Hand For The Meza Family

Losing a loved one is always hard, but losing someone you love tragically is almost unbearable. Theresa and her 3 boys were dealt a devastating blow this past week that no one deserves & no one should ever have to go through. They lost their husband/father over a ridiculous dispute over work and money. Something that never should've ended with Martin's death. Although God's plan for everyone is different & something we may not ever understand, it's still a very painful experience. But that isn't all Theresa and her sons have to go through. Now they have the aftermath of this horror. Although Martin had life insurance, it was minimal; enough to pay for his funeral and to fly his body back home to his family in Mexico for a proper burial. No question about it, Theresa and her sons will be there for that & that's something his life insurance isn't paying for. While laying her husband to rest, she will be missing weeks of work, which to me is completely understandable. To top it all off, once they're back from laying Martin to rest, the life they knew before this tragedy, will become a memory. Now Theresa will be picking up the pieces, taking care of her children, and paying bills, all without Martin's income. I'm creating this page because it's hard enough to go through something like this but to add the worry of bills & money, makes it even more difficult. I think, as a community, we can all come together to help this family. For those of you that don't know Theresa well or at all, I'll fill you in a little. She's a mother of 3 wonderful boys; Mason, Juan Martin, and Freddy, she's a teacher, she's a soccer coach, and she's a tremendous help to our Richlands & OCSA soccer league. She does so much for our soccer community along with being a huge support to her kids and their athletic schedule. She was one of my sons soccer coaches and just truly an all around wonderful person. She deserves this help. So please, if you can, no matter how small or big, please help this family. Know that whatever you can do, will help ease some of the stress and pain this family is going through.
