Support Ty's Recovery Process

On the morning of July 26, 2016, Ty'Christian Strauss, 17, was sitting outside on the staircase playing on his phone. A young man approached him in an attempt to rob him at gunpoint. Ty told him he didnt have any money and tried to run inside the apartment. The guy shot him twice, once in the shoulder and once in the back, injuring his spinal cord. Due to the bullet being lodged in his spine, Ty has no feeling from the chest down leaving him unable to walk.
  He is currently in a rehab facility in Louisiana, where he is starting his rehabilitation to prepare him for his life ahead. From Louisiana, he will go to a rehabilitation facility in Texas, where he is expected to start extensive therapy in hopes to be able to walk again. 
  Before this horrific incident, Ty moved to Lake Charles from Eunice in hopes of bettering himself. He was employed at Popeyes and was getting ready to attend school.
  The family is asking on behalf of Ty and his mother (Nikki Strauss) for help with expenses for rehab, medications, equipment, travel, and also help for his mother, who will be out of work and still paying for private insurance. Any monetary donations will be greatly appreciated as Ty'Christian and his family has a long road ahead of them.
