On May 12, 2016 our beautiful sister, Denise, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Before even knowing the full severity of her diagnosis she had surgery to remove her tumor on June 8. In the coming weeks she would come to learn it was Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and she has already started an aggressive treatment plan which includes Chemotherapy and Radiation that will continue until at least February 2017.
In the Fall of 2015 she had relocated back to her hometown of Carleton Place with her two daughters. She was working but unfortunately with her diagnosis and treatment she is no longer able to work. We would like to ease some of the financial burden that comes along with expensive medication as well as her living expenses so that she can focus on her health and her two girls.
Denise is the strongest woman we know and would never ask for help which is why we are reaching out to you.
Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
David and Todd Poirier
