My son Mark Vargas a decorated Navy Veteran is terminally ill and we are undergoing a financial hardship. Mark is being cared for by his parents and this has restricted his father from being able to work because of Mark's bedridden current state. Mark is currently under Hospice care and is living his last days at home. Funds are limited and unfortunately he did not have any life insurance.
Mark has has touched and saved many lives starting when he was16 years old when he made the front page recognized as a hero of the local paper (The Daily Independent) on December 4, 2001, and again the headline reading "A local Navy hero"on June 27, 2009. Another time on December 10, 2009 Mark was recognised for his heroic actions in an article in the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma News for his lifesaving actions in Afghanistan. Mark dedicated his life to saving others unselfishly, and now, his family is in need of help. Any help would be greatly appreciated, either monetarily or by just sharing this story.
