Hello, my name is Mike Ryckman Sr. and I've setup this account to help raise funds for my son and his children during his ongoing health struggles.

My son Mike Jr. is 35 years old and is a single dad with 3 young children under the age of 10. One day in August, 2015 he woke up to find that his legs weren't moving and he could no longer walk or stand up without assistance. After 3 months of specialists and tests nobody had any answers. It wasn't until they checked the rest of his body that they found the cause. They found that mike has multiple holes in his intestines that has leaked bacteria in his body causing massive cysts and absesses. These cysts and absesses have attacked his muscles and organs leaving him almost bed ridden for the last year. Mike is approaching his 4th surgery in 8 months and will more thank likely need 2-3 more over the next 6 months to fully repair the issue.

Mike is a proud and stubborn person but has agreed to let me do this to help him and his children get through this tough time. Mike has been off work for 9 months with no benefits, insurance, and limited resources to cover his medical expenses and raise a family.
