Hi, my name is Dominique. That's me in the picture there.
Straight to the point.
Basically the money, that I'd be getting would be used for rent and starting college.
Because my parents live in two different states I'm considered an out of state student, but because I'm under 24 I'm considered dependent, this prevents me from starting college, and does two things, first it makes the price of tuition too high, and second, it disables me from being able to obtain the pell grant.
My parents that are on my fafsa, do not have the ability to pay for it, because they have 3 other children to take care of, and my biological father cannot take care of it, because he that my financial aid will take care of it
So...I haven't been able to even start college. This has been on going for 2 years basically...
Everytime I try to start college, something has prevented me from attending, and puts me in this situation. For example, I was recently dropped from my math class before it even started (it starts on the 20th,) because I didn't have 500 dollars to pay for to the class out of pocket.
So...I'm stuck. Doing all this also meant that I had to change jobs that would accommodate a school schedule...which pays less. So, I'm constantly dipping between 30 dollars and 500+ dollars in the negative. I can barely make enough for rent.
All of these factors, other than the change of jobs is completely out of my control.
I just need enough to cover my rent for two months, and actually get started with college.
I'm really nervous putting this up, but thank you for taking your time out of your day to read this, funds are needed as soon as possible, but the end of october is my deadline.
